(Rainbow Gardens)

Tsawaayuus, also known as Rainbow Gardens, is a neighbourhood campus in Port Alberni that provides seniors with adaptable housing and care options across its four buildings. The independent living, assisted living, and complex care homes are located in a close-knit community setting, and a new phase of 35 additional independent living suites are currently in development.

We Wai Kai

We Wai Kai Nation’s new administration and commercial office building on the Quinsam Reserve, starting spring 2024, will feature efficient mechanical design to support sustainable building practices. The stunning building will showcase aluminum panels with namima crests and other imagery, blending cultural heritage with modern functionality in administrative and commercial spaces.

Nil Tu’O

Nil Tu’O, a Coast Salish-led organization dedicated to strengthening families, communities, and Nations, currently operates from a newly renovated building, which is stylized as a Coast Salish longhouse. The updated plumbing and electrical designs offer a comfortable and safe environment, enhancing the culturally safe space for Coast Salish families accessing services.
