Royal British Columbia Museum

We’ve provided essential mechanical design for the Royal BC Museum for over 40 years, ensuring its vital systems evolve with advancing technology. Our work at the original site and the new archive building has been essential in maintaining optimal climate control, energy efficiency, fire safety, and visitor comfort, keeping the museum’s operations running smoothly and protecting the museum’s priceless historic collections.

With a focus on safety and efficiency, our team served as the commissioning authority and fire suppression engineers for the 190,000 sq. ft. Centre for Athletics, Recreation, and Special Abilities at UVic, coordinating extensively with multiple user groups to ensure seamless integration of systems that met the diverse needs of athletes, students, faculty, and accessibility-focused programs.

BC Legislature

The Legislature buildings are an essential component of our government in BC. We’ve completed numerous projects throughout our partnership: studies on converting from steam to hot water heating; the addition of cooling to specific locations; and a recent addition of exterior emergency exit stairs to the main building.
